The waist is fully elastic with a drawstring at the front. It gives when you sit, bend or climb into the car, and the drawstring lets you take it in a little or let it out on a long drive. There is a button detail at the front for a tidy finish, and you simply pull them on.
The fabric is lightweight with a light stretch and dries quickly, so a creek crossing, a splash getting out of the tinnie or a summer storm on the walk back does not leave you in wet, heavy pants for the rest of the day.
Storage runs down both legs. Two front pockets sit behind button-down flaps, and two roomy cargo pockets with flaps sit on the thighs, big enough for a phone and a set of keys. At each hem a drawcord with a toggle lets you gather the cuff in for a jogger-style finish, or leave it straight and loose for more air.
Women's sizes S to 2XL. The fit is relaxed through the hip and leg, and the elastic waist with drawstring adjusts within each size. The three-quarter length finishes below the knee.
