The cut is three quarter length and finishes just below the knee. You get the airflow of shorts with the coverage of a longer leg, and a regular fit through the thigh leaves room to step up onto rocks, swing a leg over a fallen log or sit cross-legged at the campsite.
The fabric is a lightweight woven polyester designed to dry quickly, so a summer storm on the walk back or a sweaty afternoon on the track is soon forgotten.
Two vertical zipped hip pockets with contrast pull tabs close right up. Phone, keys and wallet stay where you put them when you sit in the car, on a bench or in a camp chair, and you stop patting your pockets every time you stand up.
The elastic waistband with an external drawcord sets the fit without a belt, and a reflective print on the lower leg catches headlights and torchlight on the walk back after dark.
Sizes run from M to 3XL in a regular fit through the leg, with a three quarter length that finishes just below the knee. The elastic waist and drawcord adjust the fit at the waist.
