Ice silk is a fine, smooth fabric that feels cool against the skin and lets air through. It wicks sweat away instead of soaking it up the way cotton does, so the shorts stay light while you are moving — on a walk, at the park, in the garden or down at the beach.
The fabric stretches in every direction. Squat, climb, step into a boat or sit cross-legged on the sand and it moves with you instead of pulling tight across the thighs. It is also made to resist wrinkles, snags and fading, so they come out of a bag or the wash looking the way they went in.
The waist is fully elastic with a drawcord, so there is no button to dig in and no belt to find. Both side pockets close with a zip — your phone, keys and wallet stay put when you sit, jog or lie back on a towel.
