Most small bags are one pocket. Wallet, keys, phone, sunnies, a charging cable, the car park ticket — all of it goes into the same pile, and every time you need one thing you are fishing around for it with the bag held open in one hand.
And when a light shower comes across while you are walking back to the ute, a cheap bag soaks through and everything in that pile gets damp with it.
This crossbody bag splits your gear across three zipped compartments, sheds light rain off a nylon shell and lets a cable through while everything stays shut.
The bag sits across your body on an adjustable padded strap, so it rides at your side or swings to the front where you can open it without taking it off. The padding spreads the load over your shoulder on a long day out, and the strap length adjusts to sit high and tight or low and easy.
Inside, three zippered compartments do the organising for you. Put the things you reach for often in one, the things you only need at the end of the day in another, and the small bits that always go missing in the third. You open the one you need and nothing else moves.
A cable access port lets earphones or a charging lead run out of the bag while the zip stays closed, so you can listen or top up a phone on the move.
The shell is water-resistant nylon. That means it handles light rain and moisture — a passing shower, spray off the boat ramp, wet grass. It is not a dry bag, and it is not built to be submerged or left out in a downpour.
Three compartments. One strap. Nothing in a pile.
