No Cord. Right Where You Lie.

Eleven at night in the caravan and it is still 29 degrees. The annexe has soaked up every bit of the afternoon sun, the site has no power, so the fan you brought is a paperweight, and opening the door just lets every mozzie in the park find you.

Summer camping in Australia has one problem nobody packs for: the nights that never cool down.

This cooler works where the power point isn't.

Here's How It Works

It is a slim, cordless unit with a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it before you head off and it runs without a lead, so it goes on the bedside shelf of the van, the floor of the tent, the camp table or the desk in the shed. A battery light on the top panel shows how much charge is left.

There are three functions in one body: a fan, a cool mist and a fragrance function. The mist is the part that matters. A fine, cool mist travels in the airflow, so the breeze feels colder on your skin than a plain fan pushing warm air around the room.

You choose how it sits. Stand it upright on a shelf, lay it flat on its side across a bench, or hang it on a wall and point it down at the bed. The body is about 31 cm tall and 9 cm wide, so it takes up less shelf space than a two-litre water bottle.

The supplier rates the battery at up to 12 hours on a full charge. We have not measured that ourselves, so take it as the best case rather than a promise.

The honest part: it is a personal cooler, not an air conditioner. It cools the person in its airflow, which is you in bed or you at the table. It will not drop the temperature of a whole annexe on a 38 degree afternoon.

The Gear It Replaces

A mains-powered fan — no use at all on an unpowered site

A handheld fan — your arm gives up long before the heat does

A wet towel over the face — warm again in ten minutes

Sleeping with the van door open — cooler for a while, and dinner for every mozzie around

What's In It

Fan with cool mist — the breeze feels colder than plain moving air

Built-in rechargeable battery — no lead and no power point needed

Battery indicator — check the charge before you turn in

Three ways to place it — upright, flat on its side or on the wall

Slim body — about 31 cm tall and 9 cm wide

Fragrance function — the third mode of the 3-in-1

Two colours — Grey or Beige

Specifications

Product type: Portable cordless air cooler with cool mist

Functions: Fan, cool mist and fragrance (3-in-1)

Power: Built-in rechargeable battery, cordless use

Rated runtime: Up to 12 hours per charge (supplier figure)

Indicator: Battery light

Placement: Standing, lying flat or wall-mounted

Size: Approx. 31 cm tall and 9 cm wide

Colours: Grey, Beige

Intended use: Caravans, campervans, tents, bedrooms, the office and the shed

Intended user: Adults

Charge it.
