That width is the point: lie at a slight angle across it rather than straight down the middle and the fabric flattens out under you, so your back stays straight instead of curling into a banana.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSetting up takes a couple of minutes. Wrap a tree strap around each trunk, pull it through its own loop to tighten, then clip the carabiners at each end of the hammock into a loop on each strap.
