Magazine Size.

You've walked the bank to the good spot, rod in one hand, bucket in the other, and now you either stand for three hours or sit in the mud. Or you brought the cheap stool that wobbles every time you lean for the net and groans when a mate sits on it.

Most small stools pick one thing to be good at. Light ones flex. Solid ones stay in the ute because nobody wants to carry them.

This one folds flat to about the size of a magazine and still holds an adult — rated to 130 kg on an aluminium alloy frame.

Here's How It Works

The frame is aluminium alloy, built square. Four corners spread your weight evenly, so the stool sits steady on flat ground and on the slightly uneven stuff you actually find on a riverbank, a beach or a campsite.

It folds flat in seconds with no tools and no assembly. Packed, it measures about 35 x 10 cm — small enough to slide into a daypack or a tackle bag, or clip to the outside of one.

There's a carry loop built in. Hang it from a hook, a branch or the back of the ute between uses so the seat stays off wet ground and out of the sand. Aluminium also shrugs off rain, humidity and salt spray better than a painted steel frame.

Fair warning: this is a stool, not a chair. There's no backrest. It's for sitting low and close to the work — the rod, the fire, the camp stove — and for being light enough that you actually take it.

The Gear It Replaces

A flimsy compact stool — flexes under adult weight and the joints give out after a few trips

A full camp chair — comfortable, but it never leaves the car

An upturned bucket — fine until you need the bucket

Sitting on the ground — wet shorts, sore back, sand in everything

What's In It

Aluminium alloy frame — rated to 130 kg for adult use

Square base — spreads weight evenly on flat and semi-uneven ground

Folds flat in seconds — no tools and no assembly

Packs to about 35 x 10 cm — fits a daypack or clips to the outside

Carry loop — hang it up so the seat stays off wet ground

Corrosion-resistant aluminium — suits creek, coast and humid camps

Two colours — Black and Khaki

Specifications

Product type: Portable folding stool

Frame material: Aluminium alloy

Frame shape: Square

Weight capacity: 130 kg (286 lb)

Packed size: Approx. 35 x 10 cm (13.8 x 3.9 in)

Setup: Folding, no tools required

Storage: Carry loop for hanging

Colours: Black, Khaki

Intended use: Fishing, camping, picnics, general outdoor seating

Intended user: Adults

Light enough to bring.
